Well I turn 20 today (February 7th).

I’m pretty relieved that the Finals are over although I couldn’t get any of my Christmas shopping done because of it (so I’ve got quite a few “I owe you’s” for my family like: making Neo’s coat (for my brother), Star Trek calendar (For my dad, and making a interesting purl necklace (for my mom).) although now I have a month of free time to make and get all that stuff.

Stuff I Got:
- Okami for the wii (lots of fun to play)
- Supper Smash Bros Brawl (it died on me in the first round so I have to return it)
- 5 one-yard cuts of mostly Japanese patterned cloth (know I have to figure out what to do with it)
- Tall black leather dress boots (for costumes or just walking in: they are really nice)
- Warm black hat that covers my ears (made by my brother)
- Multicolored knitted arm warmers (made by my mom)
- Pajamas (they turned out to be the wrong size)

For starter ConnectiCon was so much fun no matter how much my feet hurt.
There were so many Jokers this year; I guess it had to do with The Dark Knight (I want to see that movie so badly). There also was a life size remote control R2-D2 going around making classic R2-D2 noises and playing Star Wars music (it was so cute when this cute little Jedi kid came up and hugged R2-D2).
For most of the Con I just took pictures of cosplayers and checked out stuff in the Artist Ally and Dealers Room, but I did go to the Masquerade, AMV contest (I can't believe they showed the music video about Super Smash Bros), and a few panels although they cancelled the Panel about the history and construction of light sabers (I really wanted to go to) but it wasn't a total loss since I met my new Jedi friend
